Rev. Graves is a retired pastor in the United Church of Christ.  He is a graduate Of Morgan State College (now university) with a B.S. degree, and Drew University with a Master of Divinity Degree.  He has also attained chaplain certification from the Westchester Medical Center and served as a Hospice Chaplain.  As a member of the United Church of Christ, he serves as the Metro Association Chaplain to pastors. 

His corporate life included many local affiliations where he has been recognized by the 100 Black Women of Long Island, Veteran’s Administration (Montrose, NY), National Association of Women business Owners, NYC Housing Authority and was the recipient of the NAACP Community Service Award.  His goal in life is to help young people understand the importance of giving back to the community and on whose shoulders they stand.
